She has a keen interest in longevity and is dedicated to enhancing her skills to serve herself and our clients better. Beyond her role in the dental office, Kirsten is also a health coach, helping others achieve their wellness goals. She enjoys a fulfilling life in Colfax with her husband, Sirus, surrounded by their furry feline companions.
Meet Jocelyne, our dedicated Dental Assistant at Dental Wellness Center since 2015. Committed to ensuring your comfort during visits, she delivers top-notch dental care. A local resident, she has happily made the area her home to raise her children. Jocelyne loves hiking, camping, and quality time with family and friends outside of work.
Meet Carrie, our Registered Dental Hygienist since 2008. A Nevada County native, Carrie is dedicated to providing gentle care and building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside dentistry, she enjoys family, gardening, and time with friends. We look forward to welcoming you to our practice!
Meet Andra, our skilled dental professional who joined the Dental Wellness Center team in 2021. As a licensed RDAEF2, Andra brings specialized expertise to our practice, allowing her to perform various advanced dental procedures, including restorations, crown seats, and aligner deliveries. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Science from Dental School in Romania. She later obtained her RDAEF2 license from the FADE Institute in California after gaining permanent residency in the United States.
Andra is dedicated to delivering top-notch care to our clients, emphasizing clear communication. Outside the dental office, she finds joy in hiking the stunning Sierra mountains and discovering new swimming spots along the Yuba River’s South, Middle, and North fork.
Meet Taylor, who joined our team in May 2019 after graduating from dental hygiene school in 2015. With a passion for her career, Taylor spent the first four years practicing as a hygienist in Oakland, CA. Known for her commitment to providing thorough yet gentle cleanings, Taylor values patient feedback and continually seeks professional and personal growth opportunities.
Originally from Grass Valley, Taylor and her husband Justin, both Bear River High School graduates, are high school sweethearts. They celebrated their tenth dating anniversary by tying the knot in 2016. The couple spent the first 11 years of marriage immersed in city life, residing in San Jose, Oakland, and Berkeley.
Beyond her role in the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with her dog, engaging in activities like running and soccer, and indulging in movie marathons.
Meet Nichole, who brings over three decades of experience in dental and oral surgery to her role as a relationship coordinator at Dental Wellness Center since May 2022. Nichole specializes in alleviating dental fear and anxiety and is passionate about transforming clients’ visits into positive, life-changing experiences. Raised in Santa Cruz and the Bay area, she relocated to Grass Valley in 1994 to raise her three children and be closer to family. In her free time, Nichole enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, and gardening.

Since relocating to the area in 2018, Jenna has been an integral part of our team. Beyond her professional commitment, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, including mountain biking, four-wheeling, and jet skiing. Jenna is also passionate about family and fitness and recently adopted a couple of goats to assist with property maintenance and add a touch of entertainment to her life.
Meet Marcie, our dedicated Office Manager with a dual passion for dental hygiene and finance. Starting her career as a dental hygienist, Marcie later earned an MBA in finance. Originally from Arkansas, she spent a decade in West Virginia with her husband, Tyler, and their three children before relocating to Grass Valley in 2022. Marcie is committed to ensuring your dental visit is both seamless and exceptional.
