Meet the Team
Angie
Angie joined the team in May of 2022 as the relationship coordinator. She became a dental assistant in 2006 and has been enjoying all aspects of the dental field since. She has been a Nevada County resident since 2002 and she enjoys raising her kids here. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family at the river and camping.
Jocelyne
Jocelyne has been a Dental Assistant with the Dental Wellness Center since 2015. She strives to help our clients feel comfortable while they are in the office, along with providing excellent dental care. She is a local to the area, and has enjoyed settling down here to raise her children. On her off-time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Carrie
Carrie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been part of our dental team since 2008. She has lived in Nevada County most of her life. Carrie takes pride in her work and great joy in nurturing the relationships she’s developed with her patients. She also focuses on maintaining a gentle hand. Carrie has a passion for her family, gardening and spending time with her friends. She looks forward to meeting you!
Andra
Andra joined the Dental Wellness Center team in 2021. She is a RDAEF2, which is a specialized license in dentistry which allows Andra to perform expanded duties such as restorations, crown seats and aligners deliveries, among other procedures in the dental office. Andra graduated Dental School in Romania with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Once she acquired her permanent residency in the United States, Andra went on to graduate from the FADE Institute in California with her RDAEF2 license. Andra is passionate about providing the best quality of care to our clients and she values clear communication.
As personal interests, she enjoys hiking the beautiful Sierra mountains and exploring new swimming spots on the South, Middle and North fork of the Yuba River.
Taylor
Taylor joined our team May of 2019. She graduated Dental Hygiene school in 2015, and has spent the last four years working as a dental hygienist in Oakland, CA. She is in love with her career as a hygienist, and loves to talk about it with anyone who will listen! She takes pride in giving the most thorough, yet gentle cleanings. She loves to learn from her patients, always welcomes feedback, and makes it a priority to grow as a dental professional and as a person.
Both her and her husband Justin grew up in Grass Valley and graduated from Bear River High school. They are high school sweethearts and got married in 2016 on their ten year dating anniversary! They have spent the last 11 years living in San Jose, Oakland, and Berkeley enjoying the city life! Outside of the office she enjoys hanging out with her dog, running, playing soccer, and having movie marathons!
Nichole
Nichole has been in the dental and oral surgery fields since 1988. In May of 2022, she joined joined the Dental Wellness Center as a relationship coordinator. She enjoys every aspect of the dental world, but her favorite thing is helping clients with dental fear and anxiety. She enjoys helping make their visits a positive, life changing experience. Nichole grew up in Santa Cruz and the Bay area. She moved to Grass Valley in 1994 to raise her 3 children and be closer to her family. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, family and gardening.
Jenna
Jenna is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a passion for helping our patients on their oral health journey by educating on whole body health, as it relates to the mouth.
Jenna moved to this area in 2018 and enjoys spending time with her husband outdoors mountain biking, four wheeling, and jet skiing. Jenna also loves spending time with her family and has a passion for fitness. In the more recent years, Jenna has adopted a couple of goats to help her maintain her property and keep her entertained.
